The second Skillsharing Camp of this year will take place from September 15th to 23rd. Here is the current Timetable.
We, the orga team, are currently very understaffed. If you are currently in the forest and / or in the meadow and you can imagine helping, then write to firstname.lastname@example.org. No prior knowledge required 😉
We still don’t have a kitchen crew. If you happen to be a culinary collective that can imagine cooking in the period then write as well.
Also artists, speakers and people who are already in demand can write.
The trial because of the tripod, which was suddenly on the Hambachbahn during the G20 summit in Hamburg, goes into the second round. After the district court Jülich has sentenced the two defendants in the first instance to a fine of 90 or 100 daily sentences, the appeal is now being held before the district court of Aachen. So to make you know what you are getting into, first a few quotes from the official protocol of the first instance:
“The following court order is then issued: It is forbidden to disturb the course of the meeting by calling or throwing objects from the spectator area…”
Next date: Friday, 5/31/2019, 9 am
On 17.05.2019, a lawsuit against an anarchist from the Hambach Forest will begin.
The allegations are: Attempted serious assault in coincidence with assault on law enforcement officers in a particularly serious case and with damage to property as well as resistance to law enforcement officers and property damage.
Property damage is doubly in there, because it is about several cases.
Where: District Court Düren, Room 1.07
When: May 17th, 2019 at 9:00 am
He is looking forward to a large audience!

Soon it is time again, from April 12th to 24th is again Skillsharing Camp in Hambach Forest. After the last Skillshare was unfortunately not so great because of the external circumstances (comment of the then Orga: “We would better have canceled it than performing it at any price and making lame compromises with the Manheim Camp.”), this time it’s going to be a real Hambi-Skillshare as we know and love it. So forget boring life for two weeks, with main content like school, college or wage work and come over for fun, learning and networking.
On september 26th 2018, during evictions in Hambach forest (NRW, Germany), activist Eule was violently evicted from a hammock, pressed on the ground by several cops and got hands and feet tied. When the cops stood up, Eule allegedly tried to kick a standing cop in the face and missed them. Eule, with injuries themselves, was arrested denying ID and has been in pre-jail ever since with the accusations of “assaulting an officer” and “attempted dangerous assault”.
During the public trials on February 4th and 18th of 2019, all nine cops testimonies contradicted each other, and despite Eule’s lawyer questioning the lawfulness of the eviction and the reasoning for evicting a single hammock, judge Peter Königsfeld convicted Eule to 9 months of youth custody without probation.
We are outraged by the fact that even without a consistent story, another political verdict was spoken against political activists, This is against all of us!
So come on Sunday, the 17th of March, at 17o’clock in front of the JVA Köln-Ossendorf and let Eule hear your solidarity!

This post was written shortly before the commission mentioned below published its results. As you may see, it is still very actual!
Opinions and thoughts of a group of people from the forest about the upcoming end of the commission on growth, structural change and employment
This commission is also known as coal-commission. This term is often been used in the public to create a false presentation. The exit of coal is just one of many topics, which is also just being discussed under “economical aspects”. Also the commission is talking about how to follow the aims for climate protection and the reduction of the CO2-emissions. For us it’s a mystery, how they want to reduce emissions, since they are actually talking about growth. more…
