This week the 2nd Hambi spring-clean will take place!
On March 22, 2019, we meet at the gravel pit at 10:00 o’clock, equip ourselves with garbage bags, garbage tongs and gloves to clean the forest from the garbage. At 3:00 pm the garbage will be picked up. Collecting point is on the L276 at the parking lot next to the slip-road to the ancient motorway A4. more…
Soon it is time again, from April 12th to 24th is again Skillsharing Camp in Hambach Forest. After the last Skillshare was unfortunately not so great because of the external circumstances (comment of the then Orga: “We would better have canceled it than performing it at any price and making lame compromises with the Manheim Camp.”), this time it’s going to be a real Hambi-Skillshare as we know and love it. So forget boring life for two weeks, with main content like school, college or wage work and come over for fun, learning and networking.
On september 26th 2018, during evictions in Hambach forest (NRW, Germany), activist Eule was violently evicted from a hammock, pressed on the ground by several cops and got hands and feet tied. When the cops stood up, Eule allegedly tried to kick a standing cop in the face and missed them. Eule, with injuries themselves, was arrested denying ID and has been in pre-jail ever since with the accusations of “assaulting an officer” and “attempted dangerous assault”.
During the public trials on February 4th and 18th of 2019, all nine cops testimonies contradicted each other, and despite Eule’s lawyer questioning the lawfulness of the eviction and the reasoning for evicting a single hammock, judge Peter Königsfeld convicted Eule to 9 months of youth custody without probation.
We are outraged by the fact that even without a consistent story, another political verdict was spoken against political activists, This is against all of us!
So come on Sunday, the 17th of March, at 17o’clock in front of the JVA Köln-Ossendorf and let Eule hear your solidarity!

This post was written shortly before the commission mentioned below published its results. As you may see, it is still very actual!
Opinions and thoughts of a group of people from the forest about the upcoming end of the commission on growth, structural change and employment
This commission is also known as coal-commission. This term is often been used in the public to create a false presentation. The exit of coal is just one of many topics, which is also just being discussed under “economical aspects”. Also the commission is talking about how to follow the aims for climate protection and the reduction of the CO2-emissions. For us it’s a mystery, how they want to reduce emissions, since they are actually talking about growth. more…

Hi, we have good news for you. We, a group of activists from the field of the occupation of the Hambach Forest, are planning – after the large-scale eviction of last autumn, which lay as a big shadow over the last Skillshare – the traditional spring skillsharing camp again, right inside forest and meadow. So mark the period from 12.04.2019 to 24.04.2019 fat in your appointments diary. We have tried to cover as many holiday periods as possible during this period in order to enable young people who are forced to spend their time in educational institutions to participate.
If you already have questions or you are people from the immediate vicinity of the occupation who can imagine helping with the organization, then write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
On January 24, the appeal hearing against an anarchist will take place. The charge is “disruption of public companies”, this is a blockade of the Hambach railway.

Call for Global Days of Action on 27 and 28 January 2019
On January 27th, exactly four years ago, the city of Kobane in northern Syria was freed from the hands of the gangs of the so-called Islamic State after months of fierce fighting by the courageous fighters of the YPJ and YPG. At that time, we poured onto the streets in our millions, day after day, week after week, to express our solidarity with the Kobane resistance and to compel the world to act. Nonstop, powerful actions outside the Middle East gave the comrades fighting in the city courage to continue and forced the international powers to act. more…
Oury Jalloh that was murder!
… one of many
… by police officers
… in Germany!
“Open your eyes! Stay awake! Stop destroying this world! ”
(Mouctar Bah from the initiative in memory of Oury Jalloh)
Stop police brutality, whether in the forest, in the pedestrian zone or in jail. We experience police brutality not only in Hambi. Daily it takes place in the cities and villages of Germany, for example by racial profiling. Their most brutal expressions are found in racially motivated illegal deprivation of liberty, torture and finally murders. Oury Jalloh is not the only one brutally murdered. The clarification of this truth could only be achieved through years of persistent and independent investigation of the initiative in memory of Oury Jalloh, who had to enforce itself through countless attacs from state forces.
This truth must be acknowledged and responsibility taken!
In memory of Oury Jalloh and all the others, we support the battles of the initiative in memory of Oury Jalloh!
* Inform yourself!
* Take part in the memorial-demonstration on the occasion of 14th year of death of Oury Jalloh (07.01.2019 *** 1 pm **** Dessau)!
Acknowledge truth! Take responsibility!
Stop racism instead of covering up murders!
