Since I am not present today and I also miss the chance for a last word, I formulate here a few (not sober) thoughts on the tripod process and the orderly detention for “lack of respect.”
During the scandal negotiation from 13.06. I was the only one on the prosecution / defense bench who wore shoes from the beginning. I wonder now, why actually? Why do I wear shoes in bright sunshine? Well, probably two reasons. First, I find hot asphalt in the summer actually not very pleasant. And second, presumably vanity. I mean, if I’m dressed completely black for the process somehow also black shoes belong to it. Maybe vanity is a weakness of mine. But there is certainly no lack of respect. more…
In the two trial days of the first instance and the previous two of the appeal, we have experienced many absurdities in the process of a blockade of the Hambachbahn 2017 and reported on Twitter live under #TripodProzess. In terms of entertainment and coverage, it is a great pity that we will not appear as defendants on the next day’s trial. But there is simply something more important, you may be able to think what? Of course the Fusion Festival. more…
The following text was published on ABC Rhineland:
After the court did not agree with the procedural behavior in the #TripodProzess on Thursday, June 13, 2019, before the LG Aachen, the two defendants are now in custody.
Luna was brought to the men’s jail Aachen Aachen, B-Mike in the women’s section of the JVA (jail) Köln-Ossendorf. In other words, trans * people are once more put into the binary-contrarian prisons, only to suppress them even more by misgendering than prisons do anyway. At least about Luna we know that she is also in complete solitary confinement (single cell and yard walk alone). What they are doing with B-Mike is still unclear, because so far even the lay defenders are refused contact. more…
In addition to the report on the occupation in Morschenich (House occupied in Morschenich) two people from the forest write here, because they feel the need to give a comment in retrospect. As always, the following is a formulation of individuals and not necessarily representative of the whole forest population.
An important point of anti-capitalist criticism starts right here: If a company can own a whole village, it can also determine what happens to it.
The examples of Manheim and Morschenich, where RWE relocates people and destroys houses, history and personal memories, in order to re-market the entire region, makes obvious the whole tragedy that comes with the massive depropriation by a big company. In the form of the villages, Hambach forest and the surrounding forests, RWE not only possesses important resources, but also can design the whole region and its habitats. Actually, such kind of property is theft. Because even if the company stops lignite mining in the region and instead pursues other plans (industry settlement etc.), it does not focus on the needs of those still living here, it’s all just about maximizing profits. This approach has always been supported by the state government in Düsseldorf. more…
During the night of 16 to 17 March 2019, people were prevented from dumpster diving in Sindorf near Hambach Forest and were violently attacked by the police and taken into custody.
This report is the result of a conversation with the concerned.
TRIGGER WARNING: POLICE VIOLENCE
They report that on that Saturday, as is so often the case, they went to save food from the trash. They reported that during that week they had found particularly much of food of long durability, such as several bottles of olive oil, lentils and a bulging shopping cart full of wheat tortillas. Hard to believe that these things should really end up in the garbage. more…

Siege Krähennest, night
Although we realize that a police action in the forest can happen at any time, we startle at seven o’clock in the morning of Monday morning when we are awakened by the call “police in the forest”. Police vans come along the former A4 motorway, stop and cops get out. Quickly we bring important stuff behind the protective fence under the tower, close and barricade the entrance and pull up the ladder. Meanwhile crow’s nest is surrounded. Police squads photograph and map the location of the tree houses. Chants are yelled. We are tense. A wheel loader enters into the forest and transports deadwood away. Then the driver approaches the tower with aggressive gestures. On its balcony activists observe the situation. He drops his gripper arm on the rinsing station below, more…

Action map of Hambach Forest
Die Person befindet sich über Nacht in der Gesa in Aachen. Weiteres erfahren wir im Laufe des Tages. #freethemall
12:00 am “End of the operation”: Police and RWE leave the forest. It may be that it will take a while for everyone to get away or that they come back at any time. Criminal charge now: attempted grievous bodily harm because of a fallen bucket. Regardless of the content, this could have injured a person on the ground from this large fall height.
11:20 Currently all eviction measures are discontinued. The person is brought to Aachen. It will be checked if this is the one whom the police is looking for.
11:05 One person “voluntarily” left a tree house and is now in police treatment on the former A4. It is unclear what the reasons are and whether that has any impact on the ongoing eviction.
10:50 The first tree of the day is felled. more…

Since today there is a large police operation in Hambach Forest again.
In the early morning hours, the vigil was surrounded and searched, allegedly to check the conditions imposed by the assembly authority.
Then police entered the forest with 2 hundreds, together with RWE workers and security guards, according to their own statements in order to eliminate “trash and non-forest objects and to restore traffic safety”. Nothing new, they often come for such “floor clearances”, which is to destroy kitchens, toilets and other infrastructure that are located on the floor. more…
In the afternoon of Friday, march 15th, Eule was released from the prison in Cologne-Ossendorf.
The district court of Cologne overturned her arrest warrant in the course of a complaint. According to the competent judge at the district court, an almost 6-month detention was no longer proportionate. For Eule, the lifting of the arrest warrant is not subject to any conditions. more…
On september 26th 2018, during evictions in Hambach forest (NRW, Germany), activist Eule was violently evicted from a hammock, pressed on the ground by several cops and got hands and feet tied. When the cops stood up, Eule allegedly tried to kick a standing cop in the face and missed them. Eule, with injuries themselves, was arrested denying ID and has been in pre-jail ever since with the accusations of “assaulting an officer” and “attempted dangerous assault”.
During the public trials on February 4th and 18th of 2019, all nine cops testimonies contradicted each other, and despite Eule’s lawyer questioning the lawfulness of the eviction and the reasoning for evicting a single hammock, judge Peter Königsfeld convicted Eule to 9 months of youth custody without probation.
We are outraged by the fact that even without a consistent story, another political verdict was spoken against political activists, This is against all of us!
So come on Sunday, the 17th of March, at 17o’clock in front of the JVA Köln-Ossendorf and let Eule hear your solidarity!
