December 4th: 3rd day of the trial WeShutDown Blockade

∗ please share this ∗
Come to the third and presumably last day of the lawsuit for blockading the Weisweiler power plant in 2017.
The proceedings for the claim for damages of 2 million € by RWE are still pending.

The criminal case against five activists because of the blockade of the Weisweiler power plant goes into the final round. Simultaneously with the climate negotiations in Bonn in 2017, one of Europe’s dirtiest CO2 emitters had to be shut down almost completely for several hours. more…

Some thoughts by Luna about shoes, standing up and respect

Since I am not present today and I also miss the chance for a last word, I formulate here a few (not sober) thoughts on the tripod process and the orderly detention for “lack of respect.”

During the scandal negotiation from 13.06. I was the only one on the prosecution / defense bench who wore shoes from the beginning. I wonder now, why actually? Why do I wear shoes in bright sunshine? Well, probably two reasons. First, I find hot asphalt in the summer actually not very pleasant. And second, presumably vanity. I mean, if I’m dressed completely black for the process somehow also black shoes belong to it. Maybe vanity is a weakness of mine. But there is certainly no lack of respect. more…

Why we are not going to appear at the main hearing on 06/27 – a statement by Luna and B-Mike

In the two trial days of the first instance and the previous two of the appeal, we have experienced many absurdities in the process of a blockade of the Hambachbahn 2017 and reported on Twitter live under #TripodProzess. In terms of entertainment and coverage, it is a great pity that we will not appear as defendants on the next day’s trial. But there is simply something more important, you may be able to think what? Of course the Fusion Festival. more…

Invitation to the trial party at the regional court Aachen (5/29)

The trial because of the tripod, which was suddenly on the Hambachbahn during the G20 summit in Hamburg, goes into the second round. After the district court Jülich has sentenced the two defendants in the first instance to a fine of 90 or 100 daily sentences, the appeal is now being held before the district court of Aachen. So to make you know what you are getting into, first a few quotes from the official protocol of the first instance:

“The following court order is then issued: It is forbidden to disturb the course of the meeting by calling or throwing objects from the spectator area…”

Three of the #Lausitz23 still in custody!

A few days ago activists of Ende Gelände blocked a bucket wheel excavator in one of the Lusatian open cast lignite mines. Three of them are still in custody, though the accusation is only trespassing. Obviously the district court in Cottbus does not care that in the past again and again activists were therefore acquitted in court (since the open pit is not fenced).

Appeal to all activists and demonstrators who were affected by police violence during treehouse evictions during the last 6 years!!!

We want to prevent the next eviction in court!

Due to increasing police violence, it can be assumed that in case of evictions, people brutally will be mistreated again. This can not be allowed and we are sick of it! Let us protect our homes and our tree houses! The evictions are a pretext to clearcut the Hambi piece by piece prematurely. The deforesting stop is thus not observed.

Appeal to all activists and demonstrators who were affected by police violence during tree house evictions during the last 6 years:
For an urgent lawsuit, we need testimony in the form of a sworn statement for which you must be willing to provide personal information. more…
